PoliTrak; the pulse of the people

Best practice dictates that those who intend to be servants of the people must intricately understand the people they want to serve. – What issues affect them most, what qualities are they looking for in their leaders, what would determine their choice of leader, their general perception etc.

It is the understanding of this pulse that then guides the formulation of a media/PR political strategy.

SexTrak

For several decades, concerns have been mounting in Kenya & Africa as a whole about youth sexual behavior, pregnancy, and STIs. These concerns have been intensified by several realizations:

  • First, rates of adolescent births in Kenya are quite high.
  • Secondly, the Girl child or young woman is often seen as a victim of sexual exploitation often related to cultural practices, low literacy levels, poverty etc.
  • Third, spread of HIV/AIDs & other STIs is quite eminent amongst young women in Kenya.

Given that the spread of STIs, teenage pregnancies & other forms of societal deviancy are entirely contingent on human behaviour, it is imperative for all key stakeholders to understand the behaviour & attitude of young women towards sex.

  • Very few studies have actually embarked on overtly & intricately trying to unearth the sexual orientation & behaviour of young women with such detail & magnitude.
  • It is against this background that Infotrak introduced a syndicated study on the sexual habits of young women in Kenya.

Words Warehouse

Words Warehouse comprises of professionals with more than 20 years experience in the editing field. Our passion for excellence in captured in the vision we have for this profession.

Communications is about conveying messages with words, images and graphics.

  • It is about helping people from diverse backgrounds and with varied language competences understand one another.
  • It is about helping connect people using a universally recognized standard language.

Editing is the skill that makes such communication possible.

  • Professional editing is not about dotting the “i”s and crossing the “t”s.
  • It is not about aligning tenses and adjusting syntax to have properly constructed sentences. It is these and more.
  • It involves modulating tone, adjusting the texture of words to create harmony between what is being said, how it is being said, why it is being said and who is saying it.
